Seasons and Seashells:

A Sweet Romance Anthology
with Love Stories for Every Season

What is a seashell?

A mollusk, a crustacean, a husk? Nothing more than a bony exoskeleton serving as a home for a creature under the sea? But for a storyteller, a seashell can be so much more. It can be a memory of the past, a token of love, or a clue to a murder.

Wishing for a winter getaway to a warm, sunny beach but can’t afford it? How about a FREE sweet romance anthology instead.

My contribution, Babbet’s New Beginning, is a  quick introduction to a cast of characters living in the small town of Brisbing, Georgia. This is the first of five stories in my new series, MY HOME TOWN. The second story, Encouraging Susan to Bloom, is coming out April 2013

In Her Wildest Dreams

A fling. That’s all it was supposed to be. But then he changed the rules.

How does a divorced, single mother rationalize a short fling with one of Atlanta’s Hottest Bachelors? By telling herself no one would ever know, and since he’s moving, she would never see him again. What could go wrong?

After finding out her husband of twenty years was sleeping with his secretary, real-estate agent Liza Adams is leery of a long term relationship. Which makes a short fling with Kevin Calhoun the perfect opportunity to break out of her ordinary life. Before she realizes what’s happened, one night turns into the weekend.

Not a problem. She can handle this. Make some memories. Feel alive again. Then move on.

But she soon realizes Kevin is after a whole lot more than just her body. When she agrees to help him sell some property before he leaves town, Liza doesn’t realize she’s in for the ride of her life.

Can the sexy bachelor convince her they can make a go of things despite their completely different lifestyles? With less than two weeks and three houses full of beds, Kevin will do anything in his power to convince her he’s in it for the long haul, and he’ll do anything to make her wildest dreams come true.

~~What people are saying about Drool Worthy~~

~ What a sweet story! Ms. Brothers captures that first thrill a woman feels when she becomes aware that the guy she’s attracted to is attracted right back — the first shiver of excitement that gets the romance rolling. ~ Pamela Mason

~ I enjoy a well written novel that is clean and carries a good story line, this is one of them. ~ Jason Richardson

~ Drool Worthy is a fun story with delightful characters. Ms. Brothers has a great “voice” in her writing and writes a fast-pace, tale where not only the goodies made in her bakery are drool worthy, but one of the shop’s visitors is too. She holds your interest from beginning to end. ~ Maxine Davis

Group Novels

What is a group novel? This is where one author starts a chapter, passes it onto the next author, and so on until the story is complete.  Take a look at the group novels I participated in with the Petit Fours and Hot Tamales Blog.  This was a fun writing experience and we ended up with some awesome stories!  Check them out when you get a chance.

The Undercover Librarian:

Désirée Devereaux is not your average librarian. She can judge a book by its cover.  In fact, every time she picks up a book, she pick up vibes and flashes on emotions and crimes committed by the last patron who checked it out. When Désirée boss, Branch Manager Ada Rawlings, turns up dead in the Mysteries section of the new branch of the Harrow County Public Library, Désirée is at the head of a list of suspects, which include FedEx guy, Skirt Boy and a member of the Hookers. Dead bodies start turning up all over the stacks, and that spells Murder with a Capital M right here in Harrow County. But Hunky Detective Danny Bonner is on the case and the more he gets to know Désirée, the more he realizes there’s more to the sexy librarian than meets the eye. This laugh-out-loud cozy mystery/romance is a suspenseful read you’ll definitely want to check out.

Aspen Expose’

When JACK DAVENPORT, sexy CEO of Mira Technologies, offers to pay Computer Programmer RACHEL LIVINGSTON $5,000 to pose as his fiancée for a Board of Directors retreat in Aspen, he sweetens the deal with these words, “I’ll only need you at night.” So starts a rollicking charade of espionage, suspense and intrigue, twists and turns and romance that’s almost too hot to handle. Log on every Sunday, starting May 3, 2009, as the writers of Petit Fours and Hot Tamales shake things up with their unique spin on an original serial thriller.

 Atlanta Expose’

When we last saw RACHEL LIVINGSTON in Aspen Exposé, she was trying to decide between the two hot men in her life – FBI agents Jack and Tom – and determined she was ready for a new career. In the sequel, Atlanta Exposé, Rachel graduates from training at Quantico as an FBI agent and the terrific trio locks horns with the leader of the biggest white slavery ring in Atlanta and his arch nemesis, a Colombian drug lord. Rachel is now with Tom but she still has the hots for Jack, which complicates matters when they have to pose as a married couple in this latest crime caper. But if you think you know what’s going to happen next, you don’t know JACK! So starts the sequel – a roller-coaster ride of espionage, suspense, intrigue and sizzling romance.
