Bella is the newest resident of the castle. She was rescued shortly before Thanksgiving and has quickly made herself at home. A cross between a Bassett Hound and a Black Lab (a Bassador – yes, this is really a breed…), she is loving, loyal and extremely calm. Well, except when she’s playing with Clover. Apparently Bella didn’t get the memo on exactly which fairy tale she’d be living in. Snow White might have been a bit more accurate of a name for the situation taking place in the kingdom.

Clover, The Cat, tolerates Princess Bella, but just barely. If there is a moment when the Evil Queen can one-up Bella, then she is all over that. Bella is usually left trying to figure out what just happened. I’m almost positive The Cat has the sweet, lovable Bella mopping floors and dusting blinds when the other castle residents are away during the day.

Stay tuned for more of the craziness that is the Georgia version of Bella and the Evil Queen.

LOL! Actually, the Evil Queen can be pretty cool too. When she’s not trying to rule the kingdom…

My 17 y.o. cat rules the roost. We have 3 55 lb. dogs, but they give her bed preference and understand she gets fed first. 😉

Occasionally, they’ll try to share one of their big beds with her, but they don’t oust her off hers.
