Update

I hope you all had a relaxing and fun Mother’s Day weekend. I know I did. My fabulous “boys” got me two hanging baskets full of plants, two up-side-down (Topsy Turvey) tomato plant hangers with tomato plants, two Aqua globes for my house plants and a neat little planter (with a mystery plant) that my DS made at Lowes. Too cool and lots of fun stuff for my porch.

Since I haven’t done this for a while, let’s visit some of the blogs I love. Here are a few of the posts that caught my eye.

Blaze Authors – Check out Jill Monroe’s post on 4-23 about her adventures with the tooth fairy. I wish I had been this creative when my son was younger. This is a very cool idea. On 5-1, Brenda Chin wrote an awesome post on teamwork and the connection between and editor and her “team.”

Book End LLC – Jessica has a very information post on grammar that she posted on 4-27. On 4-23, she also gave an inside look as to why Queries are being rejected. On 4-30, Belle Andre wrote about the (accidental) Networking for Writers. On 4-28, Sally MacKenzie wrote a post about “Some Thoughts on Choosing an Agent.”

Murderati – Alexander Sokoloff liked to several articles on story structure on 4-23. On 4-19, Tony McGee Causey did an awesome post on “How Do You Know When to Quit.” Then on 5-5, Tess Gerritsen blogged about people who “Won’t Take Advise.” There are a ton of really good posts over here. You might just want to read the whole thing…

Pink Heart Society – On 4-24, Trish Milburn did an interview about how she came up with the idea for Heartbreak River (see my Wednesday Review for Heartbreak River two weeks ago). Pretty Cool… Also, Michelle Styles did a post on 5-5 about “The Lure of Venice.”

Murder She Writes – Deborah LeBlance did an AWESOME post on 4-22 about important lessons for any one lifetime. Definitely worth checking out…

And last, but certainly not least, check out Cindy Miles. On 4-30 she posted some really cool pictures from her recent trip to Scotland. Talk about beautiful country. And feel free to comment on her broken nose (that happened the first day they were there…). Poor Cindy. Also, don’t forget to enter for a really cool contest drawing she has.
