Where have I been, you ask? Welllll, life has certainly kicked into high gear. I thought things would slow down a bit once I finished school. Instead, I have filled all of that extra time with things I’d put off to do ‘later.’ Now I’m a tad bit overwhelmed with everything I have scheduled over the next couple of months. But, such is life and everything works out. So I’m not stressing too much. Yet.
In the meantime, I’ll fill you in on a few things I’ve got going.
1.) I have to get in shape to participate in a program I signed up for at work. This means I need to lose a few pounds and work up some endurance by October. With this in mind, I’ve started watching my calorie intake and started the P90X program. Oh, I know I’m in NO shape to do justice to the P90X program, but I’m doing the lower impact side of each workout and supplementing it with some running. I’ll keep you filled in on that.
2.) I’m pitching my YA story (Re-Do) to an agent in November. My goal with this is to finish the manuscript before then and have my CP help me with the edits. If I can’t make this goal, then I will lose out on a really good opportunity.
3.) Hubby is finishing the upstairs bonus room in our house. Along with that, we are considering building another house (and selling the one we’re in). While we contemplate the pros and cons of this decision, we’re finishing up all the little things that still need done.
4.) Because of my Sexy Saturday hunt, I ended up getting a really bad virus on my laptop. This resulted in us having to buy a whole new system. Now I’m learning how to navigate Windows 7 and figuring out the new back-up system we bought with the package.
5.) On the writing side of life – I’m working on several short stories for publication, just turned in one chapter for the Petit Fours and Hot Tamales blog group novel and am waiting for my turn to start another one, I’m working on my short story for the October Treasure Hunt AND I’m submitting my WIPs to several writing contests.
Okay, these are the biggies right now. This doesn’t include the two year training program I’m in at work and the multitude of classes I’m taking for that.
My 6th goal is to do a better job of keeping my blog updated. I’ve got my fingers crossed that I will accomplish all of these goals.
Until next time, see ya all later!
Tami

Wow, Tami, I’m impressed! You have set some really positive goals for yourself. I know it’s hard not to feel overwhelmed; just take it one day at a time. Like my brother and I always say: chugga chugga, choo choo…
Hey Pam! Thanks a ton for stopping by. Thanks for the great advice. I’m trying to do just that. It’s just tough for one of those who wants to do it all kind of people…grin…
Love the chugga, chugga, choo, choo…
