March 23, 2012Last year at this time my family was looking for a new home. Something to move onto the property we’d just bought. Something nice enough that we would be comfortable while we built a new house.
During our search, we saw some very cool AND OLD buildings. This is just one of the barns we saw and I couldn’t help taking a few pictures. Hubby and The Kid explored the inside a bit, but I was too afraid of falling through the floors.
Unfortunately, all the places we looked at were pretty similar to this dilapidated building. We ended up going a whole other route with our home plans and I’ll be sharing my moving experience here on the blog over the next couple of months.

That’s a pretty old building and its a surprise it has not fallen down completely, But still there is a rather different beauty about. Nice place for a house though.
I love old barns like this one. I’d love to own property somewhere with a barn.
Hey Rupert and Ciara! Thanks for stopping by and commenting. This was a very pretty barn. Hubby said there was a bunch of cool stuff inside, but I was afraid the guy who owned it would come running out with a shotgun. 😉 JK He was pretty cool.
