Challenge Update

I’m finding out how very hard it is to keep up with this challenge. Good thing I didn’t do it for X number of DAYS in a row. At least I had a week to try to come up with something to do.

I was slammed busy with the end of registration for the writing conference and getting prepared for the actual conference itself. Then I had several tests to take. On top of that, it was my birthday this past week. Yay me. I turned a whopping 36. Not bad. The day was relatively uneventful. I enjoyed a nice pleasant day with my DH and DS.

I also decided to give myself a little break and sat down to watch 6 one-hour episodes of ‘Samurai Girl.’ (see picture above) This was a six part series on the Disney channel that I recorded for my DS. With all the commercials out, it was probably only 4 actual hours of the show.

Let me tell you it was well worth the time. Disney did a wonderful job of telling this story. I will definitely be looking for the book series mentioned in the article.

If you haven’t already seen it, check it out. It was a great way to loose myself for several hours and left me with some wonderful ideas for my own stories.
