A THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR A PAIR OF SHOES???? ARE YOU KIDDING ME???
Okay, so I KNOW that expensive shoes are usually nicer than some of the cheaper ones. Pretty, sturdy, durable, yadda, yadda, yadda. Hell, I’ll even admit that some of them are even sexier. But please, SOMEONE, explain to a small town girl who grew up ogling the different cuts of a cowboy boot, what makes people invest this kind of money for something they wear on their feet?
Just trying to figure out the concept here…

Can’t help ya on this one. I don’t get the shoe thing either. I usually go round without them. Actually, unless I have to wear them I don’t.

I can deal with my wife and her shoe collection. Her affinity for purses, though, baffles me.
Hmmm? Purses? Never thought about those???
I usually buy one at a time and use it for a while. But if the one I’m replacing is still in good shape, I end up keeping it. You know, just in case. I wonder how many I actually have.
