Sizzling Books of Summer Giveaway Hop
I am so bummed that I didn’t get to read as much as I wanted to this summer. But the few books I did read were beyond sizzling. My favorite one was Inhaleby Kendall Grey. I loved the story so much I even wrote a review for the book at the Petit Fours and Hot Tamales blog.
Inhale is sexy, raw and in-your-face. The hero cusses, smokes, drinks and admits he has slept with his share of women. Because of this, the author’s unique voice makes this story stand out from any other I’ve read. With a fast pace and very little filler words, this story will keep you moving on to the next chapter no matter how many times you try to stop. LOVED IT!

The hero, Gavin Cassidy, is smokin hot. The good thing about this book is it’s the first book in a trilogy. The third book, Just Breathe, is scheduled for release in November. If the hero and story didn’t draw me in, that cover definitely would. You can read about the photo shoot for this awesome cover here.
The second part of this hop is to share a mixed drink recipe that I think you guys might like. My friend, Tammy Schubert, shared a very cool Sangria recipe with me this past July. I’ve never had a Sangria before but I will tell you I am now a HUGE fan. The best thing about it is it’s from Weight Watchers. So, not only is it awesome, but it’s healthier than some other drinks you might find.
1 cup(s) table wine, dry, red2 cup(s) low-calorie cranberry juice cocktail, cold
2 cup(s) strawberries, chopped
2 medium fresh apple(s), chopped
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon, or to taste
Instructions:
Stir together all ingredients in a large pitcher; allow to stand for 20 minutes. Place ice in glasses and serve. Yields about 3/4 cup per serving. 8 servings, 2 pointsplus value.

While it is not specifically a sizzling read, I just finished Stalking the Others by Jess Haines and it definitely brought the series to a new steamy level 🙂

I just finished reading “Stygian’s Honor” by Lora Leigh. I just love her “breed” series. It is one hot book with a surprise twist. I highly recommend it.
