Update

I’m in the middle of packing for a much needed vacation. As I sit here and look at the things I need to take, I can’t help but add an extra bag for my writing stuff. Even though I’ll be visiting with a sister-in-law I haven’t seen in a while (not to mention some wonderful nieces) in a place where the weather is beautiful, I can’t bring myself to leave the laptop behind. We shall see if the effort pays off… (don’t mention that extra weight to my hubby…he might not notice when he’s packing those bags into the hotel…)

Now for the rest of the story…

I had a pretty good week. I’m 50 pages (of edits) away from being able to ship my stuff off to my friend, Ana (the absolute most patient person in the world….grin….). I hope to finish those last few pages during the trip (not sure if I’ll be allowed the time with the itinerary I’ve got typed up already….). If not, I have two days before my classes take over again, then the new job starts the following week. So no matter what, my goal is to get those done soon…

Also, I’ve been working with a group of fabulous authors getting a group blog together. I’m thrilled to say that we were able to get it up and live on the 1st.
