The 4th of July is one of my very favorite holidays. What helped make it a ton of fun this year was the Cocked & Loaded, Shootin’ Stars & Blasting Giveaway Hop!

Hearing how you guys celebrated the holiday was very inspiring. As was finding some GREAT new sports related stories. I have added a TON of new books to my WISH LIST!
I spent the day chillin with my family. Of course, it wasn’t all that chillin. The heat here in Georgia was in the high 90’s and I think it flirted into the 100’s, as well. But the storm the night before made it perfect so the 4th of July fireworks didn’t start any fires. My son bought a handful of ground poppers and we watched the surrounding neighbors’ air show. Nice. Calm. Relaxing. What more could I ask for?

Congrats to all the winners! Its been around that temperature here too but we stay below 30% humidity so it’s a very different kind of heat. Keep cool!
