Conference Fun!!!

Sorry for the lack of posts. Life has been playing in fast forward this week. Midterms… Nuff said…

I’ve decided to forgo the regularly scheduled posts to show you some of the fun I had at the conference. My problem is – which pictures do I choose? Why is this a problem? Ha. I have over 250 to choose from, that’s why. Check out my Facebook page for the complete album(s).

When I returned home and looked at the disk, I was actually surprised at how many I had of me. Normally when I go on vacation or a family event, there are one or two photos with me in them. Needless to say, this is a huge treat. So today is dedicated to posting some of those.

This is the second day. Everyone from the committee was all over the place. It was a LOT of hard work, but the fun far outweighed the actual work.

This is the fabulous Jenna Peterson/Jess Michaels. She taught a terrific workshop about getting and researching Agents… Very funny lady. I visited with her for quite a while before I even realized who she was. I’ve definitely added her books to my list to check out…

Day three. This was during the Author signing. LOTS AND LOTS of fun…

I had a blast with these two ladies. They are the writing team for Gillian Summers. I worked my tail off to get more hints about the third book in their Faire Folk trilogy coming out next June. Frustratingly, they did give me a few hints. Now I’m even more anxiously waiting for the release.

Getting dressed up for the Maggie Awards Ceremony. This is one of the few times anyone ever sees me in a dress. The dancing that night was a hoot… I’ll definitely have to brush up on some of those moves, though.

My friend, Devon Gray. She is so pretty and a fabulous author. I’m anxiously waiting for her next novella coming in November…

My fabulous roommate, Brenda Davis. Brenda is new to the writing world and I love seeing the writing world through a fresh pair of eyes. Brenda was fabulous at the conference. Even when I abandoned her many, many times. She also did a wonderful job of making sure I took the time to eat every once in a while…

Tamara DeStefano, Tammy Schubert and me. Again, at the Maggie Ceremony. These ladies were fabulous to work with. (are you getting the sense that everything was FABULOUS???)
