Accurate Scale Result Pictures, Images and Photos

Had I known it would be this hard to lose the weight, I wouldn’t have gained it in the first place… (author – Unknown).

Damn, wish I had thought of that.

Well, I’m going into my third week on my low calorie, P90X workout weight loss plan. This week I added jogging three days a week, too.

I uploaded a calorie counter app to my phone and have been faithfully adding my food intake each and every time. This has been my biggest eye opener. It’s hard to cheat when the numbers are right there in front of you.

Although my scale hasn’t moved much (down 6 pounds), I can feel the difference in my clothes. Not as tight and not as many gaps. Plus, my hubby says he can tell a difference. I love hearing that…grin…

It’s a llloooonnnnnggggg process, but one that will be worth it in the end.

In case anyone is interested, I’m following a couple of healthy blogs. Check them out when you get a chance. They have some awesome advice.

Hey Tami! I had to chuckle when I read your quote. I have struggled with my weight my entire life – I was an overweight teenager, about 160 pounds at my heaviest, not pretty on a 5’2″ frame. No boyfriends, no date to the prom, no self-esteem. Finally, I made up my mind to do something about it, and I lost about 50 pounds during the years between senior year of high school and graduating from college; although the scales have gone up and down since then, with pregnancies and stress, what I have finally learned is that the process never ends, because the minute I stop eating right and exercising, the upward creep begins again. And it got even harder when I hit menopause! So now I focus on health and fitnesss – good food, almost daily workouts – as opposed to a number on the scales. I may never squeeze into those size zero jeans again, but hopefully I will have a long, healthy life. It sounds like you are on the right track – hang in there!

I feel your pain. I’m not doing P90X, but I am working out. As I told J Perry the 5 year old was rubbing my tummy, and told me I was getting fat.
