I will be perfectly honest and admit that I did NOT like sours until just this summer. 

I was traveling for work and tried my first sour in El Segundo, Ca. I had asked for a hard cider on tap and they didn’t have one. The waiter said they had a sour ale that was similar. So I tried it and - needless to say - it was NOT similar to a cider. It took me a few years to try the sours again. 

But this summer, a friend brought a sampler box to one of our pool parties.  I tried several sips from various ones and was intrigued.  Not sure if my taste buds had evolved or why the change, but I found I actually really liked some of them. 

Cut to the holidays and me trying to find something that felt like it fit the holiday feel. As soon as I saw this can and the description I knew it was going to be my Christmas drink. :) I really hoped I liked it because I already loved the can. Happy note - I LOVE IT! I am a huge cranberry fan and this sour ale hits the top of my yum meter!

-Hint of cloves (didn’t quite taste the cinnamon)

Verdict - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I will be going back and grabbing more to have for the holidays. I just hope I can keep my fingers off them long enough to share with our company when we have our holiday get-togethers.
