School – I’m getting ready for a big Quantitative Methods test. I’m pretty nervous about this since I have a 70% average on the homework. My only explanation for this is that I missed two classes because of the new job and both times, I missed parts of the multi part questions because of those little things I didn’t figure out from reading the book… I’m going over everything today and tomorrow and then memorizing the different formulas. Hope it works…
Work – Still going great. I just signed up for some classes I need to take on-line to learn my job better and which I have to have in order to get to my next pay level.
Writing – I attended a GRW meeting this weekend. I love those. I usually come back so refreshed and excited about my writing. My friend Nicki also gave me that extra push to get something in for the workshop next month. I’m hopeful I can get my story to her by next weekend. I’m also working on my part of the group novel that I’m writing with a few of the Petit Fours and Hot Tamales crew. That is turning into a very fun experience.
Blog – I’m making a couple of new changes to the blog this week. You will notice the first one on Tuesday Rants. I’m copying a friend (that quirky Nicki again) and addressing my rants to one of my girlfriends. I’m hoping it will make them feel a bit more relatable… We shall see. Also, I’m adding a new feature to Fridays. Stop back by and check it out.
Life – I’m still working on that diet thing. We have invested in a food scale and are keeping a better eye on the calorie intake. I also bought a few bottles of Vitamin Water and Sobe Water. We are trying to figure out something to replace the sodas we love so much. I’ve tried Coke 0 and was disappointed in it. Nothing beats the real thing. I’m hoping these flavored waters will kick my need for something sweet. We shall see…
That’s me. Hope you all have a terrific week!!!

Thanks Devon!!! I actually take it tomorrow. So I’m very nervous and stressing about it. Of course, I always feel much better when they are over. AND, I’m free of tests for a few weeks… Whew….
