Update on ME!!!

I wanted to give you an update on what’s been going on with me the past week. After a night of partying (DH’s BBQ for graduation –grin-), we were hit Sunday morning by a series of tornadoes. I guess you could say that Mother’s Day started off with a bang in Middle Georgia.

Thankfully, we did not get hit directly. But a few of our friends (some from the BBQ the day before) and the college I attend was hit pretty hard. Above are some pictures of the trees damaged on my college campus. School was closed that Monday, but we were all back on Tuesday ready to continue with the second week of a three week condensed semester.

Amidst all of that, we received an offer on our house. Yay!!!! Big cheer for that. So, I’m currently buried in boxes. We’ll be renting through the summer as we search for more permanent digs closer to work and school. Hopefully the extra money we’ll spend on the new house will save us in gas costs later on. I’m sure most of you can relate to that…
