Author Photos at Between Friends Coffee Shop

Hello Friends!

Although I didn’t travel any place super cool this weekend, I did spend a fun day getting new photos taken. :) I had a great time, laughing at the cramped quarters while changing clothes in the backseat of the car and again in a small bathroom. Of course when the photographer asked for my serious face, I could barely follow through. I can’t wait to share the photos with you. ***reveal coming soon*** 

I have some new branding ideas I’m pursuing. With this in mind, we spent the morning in one of our small nearby towns shooting photos that will be fun to use for the My Home Town series coming out in 2020.

The afternoon was spent at a very cool author themed coffee shop.  I wish I had thought about this for the Drool Worthy series (out this year).

Fun note: it took me three visits, three lattes, and two cinnamon rolls before I worked up the courage to ask them if I could have photos taken there. The ladies who own the place are amazing and if you get a chance, you definitely want to pay them a visit. 

My favorite drink is the Elizabeth Gilbert (white chocolate, macadamia nut). Yummo! Check out my candid behind the scenes pictures. I really want to sit at one of the tables with a cup of coffee and just write (one day…).
