Halloween was last week, but the pumpkin flavors are still going strong.
I love most things pumpkin. :) So when I saw this Pumpkin Martini recipe on the Total Wine & More’s newsletter, I knew I had to try it.

Wow! Sweet is the first, second, and third word I would use to describe this sip-able drink.
It is still pretty warm here in Georgia, so when we made these the whipped cream started melting super fast.
It was still a fun drink to sip while watching the leaves fall from the trees. I think I would have enjoyed it a bit more if it wasn’t so warm outside.
-VERY sweet
-light pumpkin flavor
-smooth mix of liqueurs, nothing stood out as too strong
-thick - a little thinner than, but similar to drinking a cup of eggnog
I liked these Pumpkin Martinis. I think as sweet as they are, I could only drink one and be finished. But it was a fun dessert type drink and absolutely perfect for this time of year.
Pumpkin Martinis
-1 oz vanilla vodka
-1 oz pumpkin liqueur
-1 oz Irish cream liqueur
-Ice
-Dash of cinnamon and nutmeg
-Whipped Cream (I love the canned cream)
1) Mix vanilla vodka, pumpkin liqueur, and Irish cream liqueur together in a shaker with ice.
2) Pour into a martini glass.
3) Squirt or spoon a dollop of whipped cream on top.
4) Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
5) Sip away!
Cheers!
